3D Printing + Solidworks + Keyshot exercise.

Redesigned an Amazon diffuser, taking an existing Amazon Diffuser, and developing a new shell to fit the existing internal components.

I began by modeling the full diffuser, including the internal components.

The main design feature of this concept was the diffuser's opening, the "branch". There are two tubes for the vapor to exit adding interest to the design.

After establishing the volume of the internal components, I designed the outer shell of my device to fit.

Side by side comparison of the original device next to my design.

After testing, I found that water was splashing out, so I designed an additional piece to serve as a splash guard.
